The ESB-R Electrified Helical Calciner is a compact high-temperature laboratory system designed for rapid thermal decomposition of limestone and other mineral samples. A specially engineered helical downtube sits inside a heavily insulated, electrically heated chamber — delivering uniform heating and excellent temperature stability, batch after batch.
Built for research organizations, cement industries, universities, and pilot plants that need repeatable, accurate calcination experiments without the footprint or complexity of a full production calciner.
Material is manually fed into the top hopper.
Sample enters the stainless-steel helical downtube.
High-temperature electric heaters uniformly heat the material as it travels.
The calcination reaction occurs during the sample's downward movement through the tube.
CO₂ generated by the reaction is released through the vent.
Calcined product is collected at the bottom discharge tray.
